UP government will provide treatment support to needy says CM Yogi

Gorakhpur, Nov 29 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday assured people seeking financial assistance for serious medical conditions that the state government will ensure their treatment is not hindered due to lack of money.
He reiterated that all treatment-related expenses would be covered by the government and directed officials to fast-track assessment of applications for financial aid. “Every eligible person will receive adequate assistance from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund,” he said.
He said upgraded medical facilities across the state are equipped to provide quality care and the government will fully support those in need.
The Chief Minister arrived in Gorakhpur late Friday and spent the night at the Gorakhnath Temple. On Saturday morning, he met around 200 people during the Janta Darshan held at the temple complex. Listening to their grievances at the Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan auditorium, he forwarded applications to officials and assured timely redressal. He told attendees that there was no need to panic and that all problems would be resolved effectively.
The Chief Minister directed officials to address public issues with utmost seriousness and sensitivity, ensuring prompt, quality, and satisfactory resolution so that no one faces any inconvenience. A sensitive approach should be adopted towards every victim, and their problems should be resolved and they should be satisfied, there should be no laxity in this regard.
The Chief Minister also added saying, that if anyone is engaging in illegal land encroachment or bullying, strict legal action should be taken against them. Family disputes should be addressed by arranging a joint discussion between both parties. The Chief Minister also instructed the officials that if any eligible person is deprived of the benefits of the government's welfare schemes, then the benefits of the schemes should be made available to him immediately.
As always, many people (especially women) came to Janta Darshan, with the request for financial help for the treatment of their own selves or their family members suffering from critical diseases. When a girl requested financial help for the treatment of her mother, CM Yogi said, "Don't worry, get the treatment done, the money will be arranged." He also assured others with the same warmth that the government will not let 'money' become an obstacle in the treatment of any needy person. Adequate help will be provided from the discretionary fund.
